Who am I?
I am a sophomore at Princeton University, and I'm intending to study history. I grew up in Wisconsin, although my family moved to California last year.
I ♥ learning languages, baking, and spending time outdoors.

What is this webpage about?
I took the past year off of school because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I worked remotely for a nonprofit serving refugees and immigrants. In spare time and on breaks, I had the privilege of spending lots of time outdoors, hiking and camping. I split a National Parks annual pass with a group of friends at the beginning of the year, and we made a point to visit as many parks as we possibly could.

Where did I go?
I spent ½ of the year in Colorado and Montana for most of the year and drove between both places and California. We managed to visit nine National Parks:

What are my top 5 favorite memories?

• Hiking my first 14er in Colorado -- La Plata Peak!
  
• Visiting Glacier National Park on an incredibly clear day and watching the reflections in Lake McDonald.
• Checking out Cholla Cactus Garden in Joshua Tree, even though I got pricked.
• Skiing for the first time (I only took a few spills!).
• Our delicious camp food, especially when we made Indian food over the fire (give the image a click to check out our awesome campsite near Olympic National Park).
